How many times do we recall a long ago friend or classmate and wonder where they are now and what they are doing?
In the months and years ahead, the Talmage Historical Society plans to answer those questions by finding and interviewing community members, some still living in our community and others living in far away places.
Former community member Kent Noel traveled great distances for his career but returned home often to visit his parents Loren and Alberta Noel after he graduated from Chapman High School in 1966. His early career began with his first job in Botswana as a curriculum developer and on to other international jobs, but he doesn’t forget that his first real job was helping neighbors bale hay in the Talmage, Kansas community.
